Butler argued that the State used loaded themes, including a comparison to "The Wire" to prop up a weak case, and that the lower court's ruling affirming the conviction sends the wrong message about how far a prosecutor can go. The NJ Supreme Court reversed and remanded the decision back to the trial crout.
